dinosaur noises

excerpt from Emma and Brett's Wedding Ceremony:

I ask my couples to write me a letter about how they feel loved by their partner. I promised them that I wouldn’t read them in their entirety, but here are my favorite parts from each. I will share part of Emma’s first.

"What makes me feel the most loved by Brett is that he respects me. He values my thoughts, ideas, goals, dreams, and independence... I feel like I can completely be myself around him. Full on weirdo, dinosaur screech, silly self."

Yes. They both mentioned dinosaur noises in their letters! The photos of them both laughing is the moment I mentioned it!

When we met over Zoom initially, I think we laughed for most of the time, while I scribbled notes between recipes and whiskey recs.

When they planned a visit to the Chapel on a Sunday in the spring, and asked me to meet them there, we fell even more head over heels in love with each other.

When it came time for Wedding Day, we were old friends. Feeling welcomed by both families, the ceremony was a blast, and their reception still gives me the spins!
